We highly recommend that you reserve your kayak rental or tour well in advance of your paddle date to ensure availability.  The months of June through August are especially busy.

We will do our best to work with you to reschedule an expedition should it become necessary, but please advise as soon as possible if a situation arises that may affect your travel plans – our ability to make equipment available, and re-assign guides, is greatly diminished on short notice.

We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that might disrupt your vacation plans.

Damaged, Broken or Lost Equipment

Any and all equipment rented is to be returned in the condition it is released to the renter in. Normal wear and tear is expected and will NOT be charged. Examples of normal wear and tear are broken perimeter and deck lines, plastic buckles, and lost screws. ABNORMAL wear and tear would include bent/damaged rudders, holes in spray skirts or kayaks, broken foot pedals (not loosened or fallen off) and any damage that the owner can identify as resulting from significant carelessness or abuse.

Lost Equipment and Gear

Renter will be charged the full price of replacement of equipment or gear at MSRP.

Damaged or Broken Equipment

The ability to adequately repair a piece of equipment for further rental use will be determined by the owner. IF it is determined that the equipment cannot be adequately repaired for safe return to the rental program payment in full for replacement of said gear will be as stated for lost equipment/gear.

Depending on the severity of the damage a price for repair will be estimated at the time of the return and payment will be made at that time. The cost will be determined according to estimated hours of labor needed to make the repair, materials needed and devaluation of equipment. An invoice can be provided at the time of payment if required.

Exceptionally Dirty Equipment

While the equipment will be used in an outdoor environment and will therefore be exposed to dirt, sand etc,, there is a limit to how dirty a kayak or spray skirt might reasonably be expected to be returned in. Renters will be charged $50/boat for equipment returned in exceptionally dirty conditions (needing more than 30 minutes to clean)
